Thamarat (ثمرات) is an Arabic word meaning “fruits,” “yields,” or “the produce of the land.” It comes from the root (ث-م-ر), which conveys the idea of growth, fruition, and results — both in a physical and symbolic sense.
In the Qur’an, thamarat appears repeatedly to describe the provisions that Allah brings forth from the earth, especially fruits and crops given as sustenance and as signs of divine order and mercy.
The word therefore carries a deeper meaning beyond agriculture — it represents blessing, abundance, and the outcome of effort, making it a fitting name for a concept centered on local production and the fruits of a nation’s work.
